His journey began in analytical chemistry before pivoting into X-ray technology, where he developed the groundbreaking NOMAD x-ray system that transformed the industry.
In 2002, after an earthquake in Haiti, Dr. Clark Turner received a call asking if his NOMAD portable dental x-ray could help diagnose the wounded. This moment of need inspired him to develop SMART-C — a truly portable, battery-operated mini C-arm designed to bring advanced imaging anywhere in the world.
